WHO WE ARE
Golaghat Nirman Mahila Gut (NGO) was established back in the year 2004 with a view to provide selfless services to the society for their all-around socio-economic development irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or sex.
Our main aim is to provide services for the development of people in the field of education, health, agriculture, Women & Child welfare, Youth & Aged welfare, Skill development of Handicrafts and Handicrafts Artisans by creating Handicrafts a big industry in both rural and urban areas irrespective of caste, creed, sex or religion.
We run Old Age homes, Orphanages, Mental Homes etc. all across Assam.

WHAT WE DO
SENIOR CITIZENS HOME
Our organization is running two Senior Citizens Homes at Bengena Khua, Dist. Golaghat(Assam) & at Bagharbari, district of Kamrup(Metro) with the financial assistance from the Govt. of India and Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.
NIGHT SHELTER HOME
The Organization is running a Night Shelter Home V.I.P. Road, Chasal, Dist. Kamrup Metro (Assam) under the aegis of Directorate of Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam for shelter less people with having capacity of 25 Nos.
UJJAWALA HOME
The Organization is running Ujjawala Home for Women & Children for the victims of trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation under the scheme of Ujjawala. (a Comprehensive Scheme for Prevention of Trafficking and Rescue.)
ANGANWADI WORKERS TRAINING CENRE
The organization has been running an Anganwadi Worker’s Training Centre (AWTC) at Bengena Khua, Near Railway Station, Law College, P.O. Golaghat, which is recognized by the Directorate of Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam.
REHABILITATION CENTRE FOR ADDICTS
We have been running a 15 Bedded IRCA at Bengenakhua, Golaghat since 2015 with the financial assistance from Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt of India. Services we provide include Awareness Generation, Treatment, Counselling etc.
SPECIALIZED ADOPTION AGENCY (SAA)
Our organization is running a Specialized Adoption Agency Golaghat(Assam) funded by Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Assam and Supporting by Assam State Child Protection Society, Beltola, Guwahati(Assam) since 2016.
